Most women would agree that falling pregnant is a very exciting and significant time in her life. In the coming months as your baby and belly grows, you have no choice but to shop for those pregnancy clothes.... My Baby Bump maternity has got your bump covered!
Tracey Ruhbein from My Baby Bump says "My Baby Bump maternity is an Australian owned business based in tropical North Queensland. We pride ourselves on the fact that our maternity t-shirts are 100% Australian made, with a high quality Australian cotton blend fabric. The fabrics used in the My Baby Bump tees are environmentally friendly and are produced using methods that are good for you, your growing bump and the planet."
While reviewing, I noticed one of the best things about these modern maternity tees is that they are so comfortable to wear, yet are form fitting and show off your belly and curves. My Baby Bump maternity tees are all about celebrating pregnancy rather than hiding it. Surprise your friends with exciting news by turning up to an event in a slogan tee that says ‘Watch this space..... baby bump coming soon’, priceless!
Our review slogan tee was ‘I love (heart) my baby bump’. The fit was perfect, comfortable to wear and the length of the tee was great as it totally covered the baby belly. The tee was so cute people would either comment or give me a smile when I was out. These maternity tees are fun, unique and are a fashionable maternity fit. I loved mine!
All expectant mothers should have fun with their pregnancy style as pretty soon you will be concentrating on feeds, burps and nappies!
My Baby Bump maternity tees are 100% Australian made using high quality Australian cotton blend fabric and range from sizes 8 to 18, which is fantastic. Aussie products and Aussie made! Not only does My Baby Bump sell maternity tees, they also carry a range of baby tees, modern cloth nappies and baby bibs so they are a must to check out before, during and after the birth of your bub!
Please forward this review to someone you think would like to hear about this great Aussie business!
Ella & Jaks
This beautiful tote by
Ella & Jaks was a wonderful surprise to review as each bag created by the very talented Sandra Dingwell, the owner, is totally unique and made with absolute love! Never will you see the same bag you bought out and about. We were very kindly given the tote ‘Orange Blossom’ and found the quality of the work put into this handmade creation just perfect – yes perfect! That’s hard to say as a reviewer but it fits the workmanship correctly in this case.
We had to put ‘Orange Blossom’ through its paces of course and what a better workout than by taking it shopping! I stuffed it full of goodies and used and abused it for a week and then another reviewer did the same and ‘Orange Blossom’ took it all in her stride. The stitching held up and I even gave her a clean up when I’d finished with a warm water spot clean and she came up good as new. Honestly I’ve paid a lot for bags over the years and have occasionally been disappointed in the quality for the price but have to say
Ella & Jaks have made a great quality product at a very reasonable price.

The bag itself is 23cm high, 29cm wide at the front, 14cm wide at the sides and the handles are 56cm long and this size proved more than ample when used shopping. The totes feature a magnetic clasp to fasten securely, a zip inside pocket, are fully lined and are made from very study fabrics.
Ella & Jaks not only make totes but also handbags, clutches, coin purses, cushions, shopping and evening bags and even have a section for something a little unusual. Any bag you desire can be found on their website and one of their bags would make the perfect gift for that person who has everything.

Sydney fashion duo Louisa Sparks and Kerry ‘Frankie’ Islin have launched their new online store selling their first fashion fix: the undetectaBELT. The pair, known as Sparks and Frankie, have sourced a seriously clever fashion fix for Australian women!
Such a simple yet clever idea is the undetectaBELT from
Sparks & Frankie. It is a clear plastic adjustable belt but the best feature is the flat clasp. The flat clasp enables you to wear any type of top over the top of the belt without the bulk of buckles and without bunching. This creates a slimmer, sleeker line to the body and we all love that! Not only does it look great at the front but as for the back, well, no longer do we have to worry about showing the dreaded 'G'. The undetectaBELT sits flush along the back so there is no need to worry about flashing.
After trialling the undetectaBELT, we are all fans. Our pregnant reviewer was happy to wear the undetectaBELT as pictured below to keep her pants up as she can longer do up the buttons on her jeans! With a long t-shirt over the top we had no idea she didn’t have her pants done up and she loved not having to continuously pull up her jeans. On the other hand we have another reviewer who has lost weight and is continuing to do so and she loved the undetectaBELT as she can continue to wear her current clothes while losing weight. The belt will buy her time to lose the rest of her weight and not have to buy clothes for that in between period. The belt is fully adjustable from size 6 to 18. A great accessory for anyone losing weight.

As the belt can be adjusted to your size and is non-detected it is a great investment and asset to any wardrobe. The undetectaBELT has solved many common fashion problems in the one item. There is no more reason to flash undies, have buckle bulges, complain about back gaps, etc. We can all be comfortable without the fashion blunders!
It's a great Christmas prezzie idea for those high flyers - they wont be pulled over when going through the metal detector at the airport again!

Oishi-m design and produce limited edition garments that splash kimono, vintage and retro fabrics together with denim and cotton to create funky unique garments for new born babies and busy little people (mostly sized 000-2).
Uninspired and frustrated with the stock-standard frilly pinks and baby blues found on the High Street, Oishi-m [Oy-shee-em] was born from a passion to create a fashion-forward clothing line for infants and toddlers. Having become a mother herself, creative mastermind, fabric fiend and founder Fiona Willersdorf, saw the opportunity to combine her love of bespoke/hand made clothing with the fact that she had recently given birth to her yummy little daughter called Mila. Oishi-m was the result, Oishi = yummy in Japanese and M = Mila

We were impressed when we received these cute and funky little clothes to review. Oishi-m is unlike any other baby clothing we have seen before. To look at the pants, you just see the design will work. The ‘Red Rascal Skinny Jean’ we received are designed with enough space for a nappy, be it cloth or disposable. The pants also have an elastic waist, (something like my pregnancy jeans), with just enough spring to stretch over the nappy and still hug nicely to the babies’ body.

I trialled this outfit on Heath, my chubby 2 month old. I found that the design of the pants worked just as well as I thought they would. With plenty of room in the pants, Heath still had enough room to comfortably wiggle around and for me, they were a synch to put on him. The little ‘
Super Green Screen T-shirt’ created the perfect combo outfit.
Oishi-m have a fantastic range of funky outfits for both boys and girls. The fashion and design of these items are something you should definately not go past. They are unique and edgy as well as very comfortable for your little angel.
Oishi-m have found a niche in the babies/childrens market and will be a huge success! Take a look at their fantastic range of clothing here:

But only for the seriously cute!

Well, the lovely Lara from MOCKs sent us three of her wonderfully simple and innovative products to review.
An 'Electronic Mock' made to protect gaming devices, MP3 players, GPS systems and whatever else you can fit into it. A 'Twister' which controls those pesky cords from MPs players and the like and lastly a great gift/souvenoir mock for a mobile phone that was attached to a card!
Three very different products but all with one common thread - usability!

Lara Solomon founded MOCKs in 2004 and has been nominated and won many deserving awards over the last five years.
Reviewing the 'Electronic Mock' I have to say was fun. I used it on my Nintendo DS and carried it around in my bag for days. It stayed on, protected the DS fully from scratches and also from something sticky. It washed well in the washing machine and will definately be on my list of Christmas Stocking Stuffers! A very practical and fun present.
The same goes for the 'Mobile Mock' - Great quality and a great gift idea for those abroad.
I had my doubts about the "Twister' but no more. A very good, simple invention that everyone should have!
You twist your headphone cords around it and pop them in your pocket or bag without any frustrating tangles, terrific!
This Aussie business is destined for a successful future and if you'd like to support them, which I really encourage you to do, buy some useful goodies from under $10.00 to put in your Christmas stockings!
